The Sky

i love the sky.
i love watching clouds race. or, i love the illusion of them racing, if clouds are actually nailed to the sky and i am pinned to the ground panning the view as the earth spins.
i enjoy the earth spinning. when the earth turns a corner and the sun strikes the horizon, the flood of colors fractured into the sky make my heart balloon as if emerging from the ocean floor so fast that nitrogen bubbles race through my veins and i pop. the earth spinning makes me dizzy. it makes me lightheaded. it makes me float.
a “grace” float. it tastes like french vanilla, with a hint of almond and cinnamon. it’s so thick you couldn’t even sip it through a boba straw–you have to eat it with a spoon. like new york super fudge chunk i scream.

when you lie on your back on a warm, clear evening and stare into the sky, looking at all the stars and then you imagine how much life is out there and here on earth, you really appreciate how much you have. Times flies, so appreciate what you have and live life to the fullest.
